Everyone’s heard the saying: It happens once every blue moon. In reality, a blue moon is an astrological occurrence in which there are four full moons in a season instead of three. And, no, it has nothing to do with the color of the celestial body.
To mark this spring’s blue moons, the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach is offering couples an evening of romantic culinary indulgence.
The Bleau Moon package is another example of the unique, exciting guest experiences Turnberry Associates Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Soffer (Miami Herald) promised when he purchased the legendary resort and launched a $1 billion rebirth that was completed in 2008.
It includes a cabana for two, butler service and a moonlit, four-course prix-fixe dinner for two atop the chic La Cote Mediterranean Grill (TripAdvisor), which features sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and famed Fontainebleau poolscape.
The package is $120+ per couple for dinner at a La Cote table and $199++ per couple for dinner and a champagne toast at the cabana. Available dates are May 1 and 2.
