Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Samuel Goldwin Films hosted the ultimate champagne celebration. On March 1, guests were invited to indulge in a decadent brunch at StripSteak by Michael Mina followed by a special screening of “A Year in Champagne” directed by David Kennard.
Led by the co-CEOs of Turnberry Associates, Jeffrey and Jack Soffer (miami.curbed.com), the famed Fontainebleau Miami Beach is known for its culinary prestige. StripSteak by Michael Mina has been drawing rave reviews for its untra-chic design and innovative steakhouse cuisine since opening last fall. Executed by Chef de Cuisine Derrick Roberts, the vast menu is overflowing with options such as Maine Lobster Benedict, American Waygu Flat Iron Steak, Brioche French Toast and Michael Mina’s Famous Duck Fat Fries.
Attendees toasted to the film over a complimentary flute of Gosset Brut Cuvée Excellence. “A Year in Champagne” was the second in a series of three 90-minute wine films created by InCA Productions. The first film was “A Year in Burgundy,” which premiered in 2013.
